This past week Sherman High School held the annual homecoming celebration. The kick-off is
always the Monday evening parade to showcase the queen nominees and also the cars! Some
were old, some were new, some were small, some were large, but every vehicle carried a
lovely SHS homecoming queen nominee, and they just kept coming all 63 of them!
Staci Omohondra rides in a 1928 Ford Model T owned and driven by Andy Anderson. Staci was
nominated by the SHS Golf team.
Wendell and Gloria Williams' daughter, Britni, was nominated by the Leo Club.
Jessica Brown was nominated by the Leadership Class.
Emily Dye, nominated by the tennis team, is driven by her father Ben. Her brothers Bradley
and Bailey ride with her.
The Sherman High School award-winning band leads the parade!
Here come the award-winning Hi-Steppers!
The cheerleaders end the parade with a caboose full of
Bearcat Spirit!
