Fourth grade to fifth grade is a
big jump, and students need support and encouragement as the pace picks up from elementary
school to intermediate school. Students have a little more freedom and a lot more
responsibility. At the Dillingham orientation night, parents had a chance to inquire what
is expected of their children so they can help them to adjust to a more fast paced
schedule. Shown here are parents Alba Muniz with children Katherine and Eric, and Rae
Burks with daughter Gabrielle as they visit with their homeroom teacher, Mrs.
Winnett.
