These students recently
graduated from DLC. Laury Carson has been accepted at Jarvis Christian College and plans
to get her degree in psychology. Brittney Kennedy plans to attend GCC to get a degree in
nursing. Shaneika Linzy also plans to attend GCC to get a degree in nursing. Norma
Menjivar also wants to get a degree in nursing, but is undecided as to which college at
this time. Lauren Nash plans to attend GCC in the fall. She plans to be eiither a pharmacy
tech or a dental assistant. Ericka Resendez plans to attend GCC to get a degree as a
dental assistant. She will then take classes to become a dental hygentist. Christa Rhoades
plans to attend a junior college and then transfer to Baylor University. She wants to get
a degree as a pedicatric nurse. Charles "C.D." Smith has joined the Marines and
will ship off to boot camp in early May. He plans to get his degree in psychology. Kiara
Sturges plans to attend GCC, but is undecided at this time as to what her major will be.
The students are being offered congratulations by their principal, Clif Cotton, and their
DLC teachers. |
