Come wind or rain, snow or sleet, Sherman ISD transportation employees are here to serve our children. Last Thursday proved a real test for SISD bus drivers and they passed with flying colors. “We appreciate the dedication of our transportation department each and everyday," shared SISD Superintendent Dr. Al Hambrick, "but we are extremely grateful for the steady focus and endurance they displayed during Sherman’s recent blizzard-like conditions.” Each transportation employee received a certificate of excellence from Sherman ISD and they were treated to refreshments as a way to recognize their willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty in securing the safe transporting of our students.
