Jefferson students are jumping
high to raise money for the American Heart Association. Each student was assigned to a
group with whom they shared a jump rope and area on the gym floor where they jumped. One
at a time they jumped fast and slow, backwards and forwards. When the music changed, the
person jumping handed the rope off to the next group member. And so it went until it was
time for a prize break. If your number was called, you received a prize a variety
of games, books and art supplies were given. Shown here is Gabriella Futrel jumping while
students in the background wait their turn.
