Piner students recently traveled to the University of Texas at Dallas to compete in the Metroplex Math Competition. SISD is proud to congratulate eighth grade student Isabelle Hutchinson for winning a silver medal. She scored a 43 out of a possible 50 on a five question, two hour test. It was the highest girls’ score in the Metroplex and the first Piner student to medal in this competition. Wow! Shown here is Isabelle receiving her silver medal.
