SCHOOL DAY
The Douglass Learning Center has implemented a two session, four hour, accelerated paced
day. Students are advised, upon acceptance of the session they will be
attending. STUDENTS MUST ARRIVE ON TIME!!!! Students MUST check in with
their home room teacher at the start of the session.
Students may request to spend additional time at the center by making
arrangements with the teacher and the counselor. Some of the reasons for spending
additional time are:
1. catching up on credits
2. doing remedial work
3. working on T.A.A.S. skills
4. special counseling
5. any other needs of the students
6. making up tardies- tardy policy will be enforced
7. making up unexcused absences
