James Ezell has been at Sherman High School for 1 1/2
years. He has previously taught at Washington Elementary, Dillingham, Crutchfield, four
months at JDC (Juvenile Detention Center) in Durant and seven months as assistant for
Severely Emotional Children in Durant schools. Mr. Ezell has taught 4th, 5th, and 6th
grade alternative class, and Pre-K through 4th grade Counselor. Mr. Ezell is orginally from Tom, Oklahoma (24 miles
S.E. of Idabel, OK.) He
attended college at East Central University in Ada, North Lake College ET Dunlap Higher
Ed. Center in Idabel, Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant. His previous
career ended due to an auto accident. He chose to be a teacher because he always had a
high interest in the profession of teaching and returned to school to become a teacher.
When asked why he chose to be a counselor, he replied "I wanted to be able to help
others." Mr. Ezell would like to become an Assistant Principal in the Sherman ISD. He
is married with four children (three grown and a ten year old daughter) and is assistant
Pastor of Latter Rain. |
