The best learning seems
to occur when:
- Teachers and the
library media specialist communicate in advance about projects and
class use of the library.
- Classroom teachers
monitor student progress and behavior during library assignments.
- Students understand
the expectations of their assignments.
- Teachers schedule
only enough time required to complete the research. Project writing
and editing is more suited to the classroom.
Substitute teachers
are not allowed to send classes or students to the library.
It is not
necessary to sign up if you plan to send five or fewer students at
a time. They do, however, need to have a pass. This includes lunch
periods.
We encourage
all students and teachers to utilize the library, as it is one of the
few places in the high school where students can come for a quiet learning
environment. Please help us to maintain that atmosphere. |
