The SHS NIKE Club was chartered on November 14, 1968. This year marks their 40th anniversary! SHS NIKE Club is sponsored by Sherman Business and Professional Women. The NIKE Club has always been an elite group of young women, involved with their community and service to others.

2009-2010 NIKE Members: LaTrivia Bennett, Alexia Boyd, Jordyn Bristow, Amanda Cashion, Margarita Corral, Hayley Everett, Molly Franks, Jordyn Herd, Hailey Hester, Monique Hill, Oujdia Johnson, Perla Lupercio, Yuri Marmoleyo, Roxy Marroquin, Adriana Mata, Jossette McCurrin, Mallory Moreland, Carley Mrozinsia, Candace Mullens, Karlie Olson, Heather Parker, Leah Quarles, Erika Reyes, Nikki Snow, Whitney Spivey, Jessica Villegas, & Jordan Vandeventer.

Some of their activities include: hosting a Halloween Party at the Sherman Boys and Girls Club; donating to Grayson County Women's Crisis Center; donating to Pregnancy Care Medical Center; adopting families during Thanksgiving and Christmas, providing food and gifts; providing Easter baskets to young students that otherwise would not have one; serving as wait staff at Home Hospice's Mistletoe & Holiday Magic Event; modeling in style shows; having a candidate for the football queen nominee; marching as banner carriers and having a car decorated in the Sherman Christmas Parade; and work with the Crisis Center's Junior Chef Program.
