The speech and debate team participates in different competitions across the Metroplex. We compete in the following:

The Sherman Forensic League is a competitive speech and debate organization for any student at Sherman High School who wishes to learn about current events, argumentation, public speaking, and/or acting. Students meet after school to prepare for Saturday tournaments which are held throughout the school year. Students are encouraged to attend summer camp to prepare for the competition season.
