Anna Clarkson made the Mixed All State Choir for her 4th year in a row. This is a first for Sherman High School as far as we can determine. She received 3rd chair 2nd Soprano and will perform with the Texas Mixed All State Choir on Saturday evening's performance for the Texas Music Educator's Convention meeting in San Antonio on February 14th.

Darius Thomas qualified for his 3rd year as an All State Choir musician. He made 1st Chair in the All State Men's Choir for 2009, and that makes him the first alternate to fill a chair in the Mixed Choir if someone wasn't able to attend.

We will travel to San Antonio Feb 11th and the two singers will be in rehearsals beginning on Wednesday and then every day, all day Thur - Sat.
