Jefferson Elementary School Distance Learning Center

Jefferson Elementary School is the only elementary campus in Sherman ISD that has a distance learning center. There are centers at Dillingham Intermediate School, Piner Middle School, and Sherman High School. The distance learning centers are used by SISD staff for training and meetings via teleconferences. This saves keeps travel time and expenses down by not having to travel to Region 10 or other school districts. Teachers and students may also connect to classes in other districts that have these centers. Also, they may connect to places like NASA, the Columbia Zoo, and many other places to have learning experiences they might not get otherwise.
