Class of 1960: Please let us know if you are interested in attending
and/or helping plan a 45-year reunion for this July/August. We are considering August 28
or July 30, 2005. We need rapid input as we need to make a reservation ASAP.
-Sara Jo Price Wagner
In my first career, I taught high school French. My
second career was asset management in commercial real estate, and now I'm doing what I've
always wanted to do. Almost eight years ago, I began my third career as a financial
advisor/stockbroker.
After having grown up at First Baptist in Sherman, I became a member of First Presbyterian
when I moved to Houston. Much of my time outside of my professional life is spent being
involved in church activities. I have been a member of the choir here for 25+ years and
have participated in three trips
abroad: two to Scotland and England and one to Prague and Budapest.
I have had many opportunities to travel, both domestically and internationally. I enjoy
activities associated with music (mostly classical) and love to read.
-Carla A. Burns
I've been a full professor here for 21 years. I have 8
children ranging from 34 to 7. Only 3 left at home and I really miss not having a 2 year
old around all the time.

After graduating from Sherman HS my family was moved
around the country because of my father's job. Finally, we came back home to California
and I married in 1966. Since that time I have been teaching high school, 35 years now, and
am ready to retire. During these years, however, my husband was assigned to England for
three years. This was a fantastic experience and afforded us the opportunity to travel to
27 countries during our stay. A real once in a lifetime opportunity.
My husband and I are avid campers and are Docents with the California State Park System
here in Santa Cruz County. It is our next vocation when we are retired from our present
jobs. I guess my personal philosophy of "Life is just one long adventure" is
exemplified by our lifestyle.
I hope to hear from old friends sometime - until later -
