Would like to find an old friend of mine named June
Simpson.

I have enjoy getting up-dated on the "kids" I went to school
with--many since kindergaten. I had fun putting together the class of 1958 Memory Book
from our 45th reunion. I do a few of them left, if anyone would like one they should get
in touch with me either by e-mail o "snail mail". I wish I could get back to
Sherman more often, but living in OR makes it quite a trip. We do take a lot of
Elderhostel trips around the US and around the world, but don't seem to make it to Texas.
I would love to hear from any of my classmates, especially those that I didn't hear from
when I was working on The Book.

Since our home was so damaged by Hurricane Katrina we decided to move back to
my home state. My email address has changed just slightly because we have Cox Cable here
also. I am already a member of the ex-students association and love to read the Bearcat
Bulletins.

I'm still selling Arizona businesses and have no plans to retire -- too much
fun. Dorothy and I live near the office so it's a pretty good set-up. I'm a Texan at heart
with a million fond memories of Sherman and its people, but after living here over 4
decades we love beautiful Arizona too.

The ex-students association is a wonderful way to keep up with your classmates
and their families. Also it is a great charity. The Association awards a number of
scholarships to deserving students each year. The funds for the scholarships come from our
former students and families. I would encourage you to join, if you are not a member, and
also to make a generous contribution to the scholarship fund. I would like to challenge my
classmates of 1958 to out give the class of 1967, who started a scholarship fund and now
have a balances in excess of $5,000. What about some of you other classes. "Start a
fund, don't be outdone."
The Class of 1958 had a great 50th reunion. It was so good to see so many of you there and
to relive some the highlights of "yester" year.
