Healthy Snacks from some of our teachers :
Bear Biscuits
Apple Smiles
1 10oz. tube of Hungry Jack refrigerated
biscuits
2 large apples
raisins
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
maraschino
cherries
mini-marshmallows
honey
Separate biscuits. Cut 3 biscuits into
1/8's
Cut 2 apples into 8 slices each
Leave 6
whole.
Remove the apple cores.
For each biscuit,round 3 of the small
dough
Spread peanut butter on one side
pieces for the ears & nose.Firmly press onto
face.
of each slice.
Press raisins for eyes &
nose.
Place marshmallows between
Add 1/4 maraschino cherry to each
ear.

Bake on a cookie sheet for 8-10
minutes.
Grin back at your Apple Smile
at 400 degrees until golden brown.
Enjoy with honey, of course!

Mud
1/2 cup peanut
butter
6-oz package instant chocolate pudding
1/2 cup dry
milk
3 cups of cold milk
1 tbs. of
honey
6 whole graham crackers
2 tbs. graham cracker
crumbs
"seeds" (peanuts,M&m's,sunflower seeds)
6 gummy worms
Mix in a bowl : 1/2 cup peanut butter
& 1/2 cup dry
milk
Finely crush 6 whole graham crackers in a large ziploc bag
Add : 1 tbs honey & mix
well
Put in a jar, chocolate pudding & 3 cups cold milk
Divide dough into 6
pieces.
Shake for 2 minutes & pour into 6 cups.
Mold each piece into the
shape
Stir in crushed graham crackers
of a dog
bone.
Dig holes for "seeds"& gummy worms
Sprinkle graham cracker
crumbs
Enjoy & have fun
on both sides.

Edible Peanut Butter Playdoh
1 bunch of
celery
1 Tbs.. peanut butter per child
1 1/4 cup peanut
butter
1 Tbs.. honey per child
1/2 cup of
raisins
powdered milk
Cut celery stalks into 2
pieces
Mix ingredients with hands, adding powdered milk
Spread thin layer of peanut
butter
until mixture doesn't stick to fingers
on celery
sticks
Shape to desired form
Place raisins on top to look like ants.
